Casey Wissink Paint LLC, doing business as CW Paint ("we," "us," or "our"), is a painting contractor in Wausau, Wisconsin. We use "you" and "your" to mean you, the reader, and anyone else who visits our website or asks us for an estimate. These terms of service ("these terms") set out the rules for using our website and what you can and cannot expect from it. "Our website" means cwpaint.com, every page and form on it, and the online services we use to run it, such as the estimate form.
These terms cover our website, not the paint on your walls. Work we actually do for you is governed by the written agreement you sign with us. By using our website you agree to these terms.
What our website is
Our website is a way to look at our work and ask us for an estimate. Using it does not hire us and does not commit you to anything.
Estimates and quotes
Asking for an estimate is free and carries no obligation. An estimate request is not a contract, and neither is a price, a price range or a timeline you see on our website or hear from us before a walkthrough. Work goes ahead only under a separate written agreement that both of us have signed. That agreement, not these terms, sets the price, the scope, the schedule and any warranty. Nothing in these terms limits or changes it.
Photos, colors and guides
Photos on our website show past work. They are examples, not a promise of a specific result on your property, and colors look different from one screen to the next. Our guides, articles and any cost ranges in them are general information to help you plan. They are not a quote and not advice about your particular building.
Our content
The content of our website, such as its text, photos, logo and design, belongs to CW Paint or is used with permission. You are welcome to share a link. Please do not copy our photos or writing for your own business.
Fair use of our website
Do not misuse our website. That includes things such as submitting false estimate requests or requests for someone else without their say-so, flooding the forms, scraping our website, or trying to break or probe it. We may ignore or block submissions and visitors that do.
Calls and texts
If you ask for an estimate, we will call, text or email you about it. Message and data rates may apply to texts, and how many you get depends on your project. Reply STOP to any text to stop them, or reply HELP, call or email us for help. Mobile carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages. Our Privacy Policy explains what happens to your information.
Links and other companies' services
Our website links to, and relies on, services run by other companies, such as the provider of our estimate form and analytics providers. We do not control them and are not responsible for their websites, services or terms.
Our website comes as it is
We work to keep our website accurate and available, but we provide it as is, without warranties of any kind about our website itself. To the extent the law allows, CW Paint is not liable for losses that come from using, or being unable to use, our website. This section is about our website only. It does not limit our responsibility for painting work we do for you, which your written agreement and Wisconsin law cover.
Wisconsin law
Wisconsin law governs these terms. Any dispute about them belongs in the state courts of Marathon County, Wisconsin.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date they were last updated, and the date the current version took effect, are shown at the top of this page. We will notify you of changes by updating those dates and posting the updated terms here. The version posted when you use our website is the one that applies.
